We have fallen in love with the weather here in the mountains. The nature is beautiful and from The Studio you are quickly in the most diverse areas hiking and enjoying the diversity. In winter you can reach many small and larger ski resorts in no time. A car or e-bike is advantageous in the rural area so that you are faster in the "height" or can also buy something, but even as a pedestrian you are well connected with public transport, just have to calculate a little more time. The network is good but the frequency of public transport is not comparable to the city. Also to mention here : some cash in your backpack can't hurt, because cash is still the only means of payment in some places. Likewise, before visiting a restaurant or store, it is worth checking the respective website to check the opening hours.

In Glarnerland there are many traditional events that are worth a visit. Be it the Alpabzug, the Landsgemeinde or the cheese market in Elm. Glarus itself you can reach on a beautiful bike path that leads you in about 15 minutes along the river, and next to Anja's favorite Hoflädeli past, directly into the small town. In summer there is also a cute little swimming pool. Also close by is Lake Walen, which beckons with swimming and treats at Lago Mio, or the unspeakably beautiful Klöntalersee! In the Lintharena around the corner you can also keep yourself busy in bad weather, be it with a little wellness or you practice bouldering or climbing in the indoor facility.

Whether mountain lakes, bouldering, hiking, ski tours, skiing, sledding, biking, culture, culinary, shopping or even wellness, the list of activities for every taste is diverse and almost endless and has something for you. • of course, we have not forgotten the coffee maker, the milk frother, and the toaster. Nothing beats an extensive connoisseur breakfast!

• huge Miele refrigerator with a freezer compartment for the purchased goodies

YOUR HOSTS : ANJA, SANDRO & MOLLIS : THE STORY ABOUT US AND THE STUDIO

We moved from Zurich to Mollis in the summer of 2022 and have exchanged city for mountain views after many years. Our house from the 80-ies was a stroke of luck, and with a few fine renovations here and there we have created a cozy "Deheime". The studio is located on the top floor of the house at street level, with its own entrance and roof terrace. For us the perfect place and the ideal opportunity to fulfill one of our dreams and create a "Happy Place" for people from all over who want to spend a short or even longer moment here in the beautiful Glarnerland. An accommodation, as we also appreciate it when traveling. We have furnished The Studio with everything that brings us joy and makes our hearts beat faster, whether at home or while traveling. High quality and natural materials were very important to us. Designer pieces mixed with flea market finds from Grosi's time are just as much a part of it as amenities that make a vacation a vacation. "And of course please everything in beautiful".

We are happy to welcome in this "Bijou" wonderful guests from near and far, who appreciate the love for details and the mountains as much as we do.

We, by the way, are Anja and Sandro. Sandro has been working as a photographer and director worldwide for over ten years(www.sandrobaebler.com). Anja supports him as a partner in creation and administration. The former architect also has a special flair and an eye for interiors and "beautiful things".

Free time is rather rare with us, but when it is, we enjoy nature, the garden, the mountains, eating and drinking with friends, or trips to nearby hiking and ski resorts.
