Ort: Ygrubenstrasse 12F, 8750 Glarus

In Glarnerland, you can ski endlessly and let off steam in a different ski area every day. You can either travel a few minutes or head straight from the studio to the Schilt ski lift. This small and ecological ski area at the foot of the Fronalpstock has just two T-bar lifts, but still offers varied pistes, powder snow and opportunities for ski tours, and snowboarders will also find their "snow happiness" here. If you are lucky, you can ski almost to the studio door if there is enough snow. There is a ski bus from the village or you can travel here in your own car (snow chains recommended), parking spaces are available.

Seasonal, rustic cuisine with great attention to detail and no unnecessary ingredients. The Flyhof is located in Weesen, directly on the lake. In the cooler months you can sit in the cozy parlor and when it's warmer on the secluded terrace.
The perfect place for a romantic dinner for two.
A boat trip and an ice cream on the lake is always a good idea, isn't it? Start and finish at the harbor in Weesen. Combine the whole thing with a stopover and a short walk to Paradiesli Betlis, a detour to car-free Quinten and a cool dip in the water!

Our favorite swimming pool and, in our opinion, a very special one is the Obersee swimming pool at over 1000 m above sea level, including a staffed kiosk at the weekend. The swimming pool is supplied with natural water and offers you a unique view in the middle of nature! It can be wonderfully combined with a walk around the Obersee.

In Glarnerland you can climb as far as the eye can see. It starts very close to the studio, where you climb on the Mullernalp on the Steger and Wyss walls with unique views and a medium level of difficulty. However, you first have to hike to the climbing garden, which is about a 50-minute walk from Mullern. It's worth it!

The Weissenberge toboggan run in Glarus Süd is our favorite. The Matt Weissenberge cable car takes you directly to the sledging fun. The toboggan run has it all and guarantees a racy descent. It's best to take the cable car up, enjoy a cheese fondue with schnapps in the mountain inn and then tackle the rather steep slope.
Sledging is also great at the Kerenzerberg cable car, not far from the studio. You can go sledging here in winter and ride down on a scooter in summer.
You can find lots more tobogganing ideas on the Glarnerland Tourism website.

The Kännelstrasse, which starts about 100 meters from the studio, takes you directly to this pretty mountain restaurant after a 20-minute drive in the direction of Fronalp. It'll take you a brisk 45 minutes by e-bike and you'll have really earned your rösti ;)
In winter, the Naturfreundehaus is located in the middle of the Schilt ski lift winter sports area and therefore driving from the ski lift parking lot is prohibited in winter.
Location: Hans Albrecht-Strasse, 7310 Bad Ragaz
If the Linth Arena's wellness facilities are still a little too little for you, take a 30' drive and visit the Tamina Therme in Bad Ragaz, where you can spend the whole day relaxing and being pampered to your heart's content.
